The Hindu Makkal Katchi has drawn its dagger against Kollywood yet again and this time in opposition to Kamal Haasan’s ‘Manmadhan Ambu’.

The fringe political out fit has raised objections to a few lines of the song ‘Kannodu Kannai Kalandhal’ in the film. The party says some lines quoting Aranganathar and Sri Varalakshmi hurts the sentiments of the Hindus and is an insult to the religion they claim to represent.

Notices have been sent to Kamal Haasan and Trisha who have lent their voices to the song, the producer Udhayanidhi Stalin and the director KS Ravikumar to take corrective actions, according to the Hindu party.

It has warned the ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ team with legal complications if it doesn’t remove the objectionable lines from the song and ensure those lines are not heard or seen in any form.

Here is the lyric for you to take a call.
